I have to admit that after 250 days, I am find it harder to come up with good Giveaways! It’s not that there’s no more stuff in our house to give away. I still have a few piles of stuff in the back of my car and lying around the house, but it’s getting harder and harder to think of new people or organizations to give the things to. It’s particularly hard when I spend most of the day at home writing and only venture outside to go grocery shopping or to pick our son Theo up from school. I can only give away so many tote bags to fellow shoppers or books or games to the library without repeating myself in my blogpost.

Today I must have used up all my creativity for the essay I was writing because when it came to focusing on my Giveaway, my brain had no more good ideas to give. So, the best I could manage was to dig out a little box of Theo’s Rainbow Loom rubber bands and some extra packets of the bands and take them to school with me when I went to pick Theo up. I considered offering the box to a child younger than Theo, but I don’t know many of the younger children at the school now. So, I left it on the steps with one of my “Free!” notes stuck to it and went inside to find Theo. When we came out 20 minutes later, the box was gone, so at least it found a home quickly. And now it’s 5:45 and I’m finishing up my blogpost. What I lacked today in creativity, I at least made up for in efficiency!

  1. You always think of something, Meher, regardless of what it is. And for the next 115 days you will continue to do so even though, as you said, it is becoming more difficult. Thrift shops, homeless shelters, etc are always possibilities. Right now there are a lot of refugees who would take advantage of your kindness as well. As they say in French, lache-pas!
