With a book deadline rushing towards me,

I have less and less time for my blog.

I’m trying to keep up with my daily giving,

Though I’m feeling as tired as a dog.

Today’s Giveaway was such a small thing –

Some paper for a class art project.

I gave his teacher the watercolor paper I had

Just a few sheets, but she didn’t object.

Sometimes giving a little of what someone needs

Is better than nothing at all.

I did vow to buy her some more paper soon

The next time I get to the mall.

I feel pretty crummy giving so little away,

You should see the sad look on my face.

But I managed to type up this little verse

It’s better than empty white space.
