‘Twas the night before Halloween

The house is a mess.

I’m behind in my work now

And feeling some stress.

But pumpkins are carved and costumes are made,

And shown off at the school Halloween parade.

Bowls full of trick-or-treat candies are prepped

For kids who can make it up all of our steps.

With all the things going on today,

I still managed to squeeze in My Giveaway.

A cute little book about a ninja boy

Might bring some kids at karate class joy.

So I gave Theo’s teacher the little book.

And headed back home to the Season of Spook.
