Today I dropped off a couple of books in the Little Free Library outside our son’s school. Beside them, I left a cute little bracelet with my son’s school’s name woven into it, a gift to another child from the school that I am missing today.
I had a particularly tough day trying to be a decent parent and a functional professional. We’re only half way through summer break, and although I am happy my son is having a rest from school and is having a good time with friends, I am far from restful during these months.
